Baumhower’s Victory Grille

Legendary Fun. Legendary Food.

Founded in 1981 by local restauranteur and former Alabama football All-American and All-Pro Miami Dolphin, Bob Baumhower, Baumhower’s Victory Grille is well-known for its concept of providing a legendary experience for every guest, every time. The restaurant has won numerous high-profile awards, including recently being ranked best chicken wings in the state.

Baumhower’s take pride in having a complete scratch kitchen, including their famous buttermilk ranch and other dressings, house-made wing sauces, fresh hand-cut, and hand-breaded hot lips (boneless buffalo wings), all scratch sides such as homestyle green beans and fresh hand-cut broccoli, and even making mozzarella starting from the curd.

Baumhower’s award-winning fire roasted wings, and other signature menu items, were recently showcased on the November 4, 2023 ESPN College GameDay broadcast prior to the Alabama versus LSU game in Tuscaloosa.

Baumhower’s, the state’s first restaurant to offer buffalo-style chicken wings, is celebrating 43 years in business and is part of Aloha Hospitality, with headquarters in Loxley, AL.
