They say the reward for hard work is more work and no one knows this better than an athlete. Winning oftentimes means you’ve earned a spot in the next game or the next tournament. There’s always more work to be done.
But sometimes it’s hard, especially during tournament bracket play, to give yourself the time to recharge and refocus. This week’s installment of #MindfulnessMonday aims to help with that.
Taking the time to take stock of your body and mind allows you to let go of anything that is holding you back. Please keep in mind though to not play when you are injured. Minor aches and tiredness are one thing you can conquer using mindfulness, but you should never ignore an injury
Try the short meditation below in between games to get your mind back into focus and yourself back in the competition.
