The Bama Beach Pickleball Club is ready to rock the Foley Event Center at the Rock N Roll Round Robin August 20 – 22.
The event will draw players from around the Southeast because it’s such a unique format, said Tournament Director Eddie McDonald.
“We rotate partners in Men and Women’s Doubles and in Mixed your partner is determined by a blind draw,” McDonald explained. “We will also be playing Rock-N-Roll music during the entire event.”
Foley Sports Tourism Event Operations Manager Angie Sullivan said this is definitely one of those events that don’t feel like work.
“If you keep an eye on our staff you usually catch somebody dancing at some point,” laughed Sullivan. “It’s just a fun atmosphere to be a part of, from the music to the incredible players that attend. It’s something to be seen. But fair warning, once you see it, you want to jump right in and join.”
