For those thinking cornhole is limited simply to tailgates and bars, think again. The American Cornhole Organization is heading back to Foley May 12-13 for the ACO Foley Major- Season XII and expects plenty of participants to get the bags flying.
This is the second time the ACO has been to Foley and they are excited to return with a range of divisions on the docket, including women’s, juniors and seniors. Executive Director of Foley Sports Tourism Complex, Don Staley, said it’s an event for everyone.

“A lot of sports are limiting because of the range of motion or stamina needed,” Staley said. “Cornhole is an opportunity for all ages. It truly is a game that can be played by all.”
Staley went on to say this type of “ageless” sport gives people a chance to fall in love with Foley, which offers activities for everyone.
“The best part of our Complex is its location,” Staley continued. “Foley is the perfect place for ACO events because it’s got dining, shopping, and so much more to meet everyone’s needs.”
